Ibbotson finds liquidity a good predictor of returns

Dr. Roger Ibbotson a Yale professor co-authored a paper with Zhiwu Chen reporting their findings that the liquidity of investments is a strong predictor of returns with illiquid investments outperforming their liquid counterparts even when controlling for size, valuation and momentum.  The paper is below.
