Model Performance Tracking 10.5.2010

Here is an update of some of the portfolios we track.  If you would like more info on how we construct these portfolios, email info@assetadvisors.us.  While there may be some tracking issues due to the fluidity of the Goldman Sachs Conviction Buy list and the static nature of our tracking, it looks as though Goldman is doing a pretty good job picking stocks at the moment relative to the SPY.  The Fama French Portfolio is underperforming the Basic Portfolio illustrating the risk aversion we have seen recently.  The outperformance of the bond fund is somewhat concerning.  There is a lot of money flowing into bonds which has given many of our clients nice gains but causes concern about their future, relative valuation and risk.

Portfolio Performance (since 4/9/2010)

Goldman Sachs Conviction Buy List 3.57%

Fama French 60/40 ETF Portfolio 1.77%

SPDR S&P 500 ETF -0.03%

Vanguard World ETF 0.48%

iShares Agg Bond ETF 4.49%

60/40 Basic Portfolio 2.08%
